These rugs were woven by hand in a small studio in New Mexico. The weaver has dyed indigo in West Africa, worked with a master weaver in New Zealand, and hunted for obscure lichens for dye color in Ireland. Devoted to making the highest quality woven goods, she uses a mixture of plant-based, indigo-dyed cotton and wet-spun linen from Normandy. These beautiful woven mats are 21”x 37” in size.
