A rare opportunity to find an amazing collection of vegetable dyed ikat stripe textiles hand loomed cotton on the Indonesian island of Sumba. Ikat is a method by which the patterns are produced in the threads before they are woven. It is a very delicate and complicated process requiring many months of quailtiy workmanship.
